TAP Fabrications is part of the TAP Group founded By Trevor Humphreys in 1977 and based in Spennymoor, Co Durham. In 1980 TAP acquired Aycliffe Plastics (Fabricators) Limited, established in 1965 and specialised in manufacturing products such as chemical process equipment, tanks, fumes extractors and pipe work, as well as offering installation services. This consolidated TAP Fabrications as a leading North East fabricator and supplier with a client base of national and global giants in the chemical, utility and construction industries. TAP expertise can be found in projects throughout the UK and as far as the USA, Singapore, Pakistan and Malaysia. Equally important to TAP is the supply of products such as PVCu, ABS, Polypropylene Pipe, Vales and Fittings together with sheet and engineering plastic. Constantly sourcing new products, materials and solutions to meet the needs of our customers from utility industries to the general public.

By sourcing direct from manufacturers and using our specialist in-house fabrication skills, we aim to profitably grow our business by helping our customers add value to there activities. We aim to employ the highest quality staff and create a rewarding and enjoyable place of work. Within our fabrication department we are able to offer a complete fabrication and installation service. Produced from customers drawings or sketches we produce items such as tanks, fume extraction systems, special bends and machine guards.
